Is this instead of a videographer?

It can be. Most wedding videographers in Canada charge $2,200 to $5,000. You can also use us next to your videographer to get the guests' view.

The kit and shipping

When does the kit arrive?

3–4 days before your wedding, by Canada Post. It's ready to record, with a charged battery and an empty memory card inside.

What's in the box?

A 4K camcorder, 3 batteries and a charger, a 256 GB memory card, a shot list, instructions, a carry bag and a prepaid return label.

How do I send it back?

Pack everything in the same box, stick on the prepaid label, and drop it at Canada Post within 72 hours after your wedding.

What if the camcorder isn't working when it arrives?

We test every camcorder before it ships. If yours still isn't working, email us right away at hello@loveunscripted.ca and we'll rush you a new one.

What is the Video Guarantee?

If our camcorder breaks or your kit gets lost in the mail and you can't film your wedding, you get a full refund.

What if it gets lost or broken?

Weddings are fun and dance floors happen. Lost or damaged items may have a replacement fee, as set out in our rental agreement.

Filming

Is it hard to use?

No. It comes with easy instructions, guide stickers on the camcorder, and a short video guide you open by scanning a QR code. Just press record.

Who should hold the camera?

Pick 2 or 3 people you trust, like your maid of honour or your brother. They can pass it around to other guests too.

How much can we film?

Yes. Ask guests to say a few words to you on camera. Those messages go into your raw footage and often into your film.

What should they film?

Getting ready, the ceremony, speeches, the dance floor, and messages to you. There's a shot list in the box.
